Updated: today for customers ordering Cadence Rest Journal, Tauhinu Low-Light Lamp, Lift & Reset Foot Platform, and related FlexiBite accessories from the Wellington studio or eliminatespine.world listings.

Commitment to fair returns

FlexiBite honors the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act and Fair Trading Act. Products must be of acceptable quality, fit for purpose, and match descriptions on Eliminatespine. Where a guarantee is breached, you may choose a repair, replacement, or refund as the law requires.

Change of mind window

If you simply change your mind, FlexiBite accepts returns within fourteen calendar days of delivery or studio pickup, provided the item is unused, in original packaging with inserts intact, and free of personalization. Refunds exclude outbound shipping unless FlexiBite misdescribed the product.

Lift & Reset Foot Platform returns must include all hardware in the cloth pouch; missing screws delay processing.

How to start a return

Email the studio reference office@eliminatespine.world as published on the contact page, include your order number, reason for return, and photos if the item arrived damaged. Wait for a return authorization before shipping large parcels.

FlexiBite may supply a prepaid label for verified manufacturing defects; for change-of-mind returns you arrange and pay carriage unless FlexiBite states otherwise in writing.

Condition standards

Cadence Rest Journal pages must be unmarked, and the linen cover unstained. FlexiBite cannot resell personalized embossing; those orders are final unless defective.

Tauhinu Low-Light Lamp must include the original USB-C cable and dimmer cap. Electrical testing occurs on arrival; tampered cords void consumer claims.

For hygiene and safety, FlexiBite cannot accept returns of items showing water damage, impact cracks, or modifications not authorized in the care card.

Refunds and processing time

Approved refunds are issued within seven business days of warehouse inspection using the original payment path. Bank processing may add additional days.

Partial refunds apply if accessories are missing and FlexiBite deducts replacement part cost transparently.

Exchanges

Warranty period

Electrical components in the Tauhinu lamp carry a twelve-month warranty against manufacturing faults when used according to the manual. Mechanical elements of the foot platform carry the same period. Journals carry a six-month warranty on binding separation under normal desk use.

Non-returnable items

Digital guides if ever sold separately, gift cards, clearance items marked final sale, and custom color batches commissioned for corporate clients are not eligible for change-of-mind returns.

Damaged in transit

Photograph the outer carton, inner padding, and damage within forty-eight hours of delivery. FlexiBite files courier claims and prioritizes replacement stock when available.

Studio drop-offs

Bring the packing list and ID. Studio staff inspect on the spot when possible; otherwise a hold applies until the warehouse confirms condition.

International orders

If FlexiBite ships outside New Zealand, customers are responsible for duties on replacements unless FlexiBite error caused the return. Customs paperwork must accompany the parcel to avoid abandonment fees.

Environmental handling

Returned lamps are disassembled for responsible recycling when they cannot be resold; journals may be donated to literacy programs after privacy redaction of any stray notes.
